Prabowo's Arrival In England Was Welcomed By The Cold Temperature Minus 1 Degree
JAKARTA - The cold weather that hit the UK recently was also felt by President Prabowo Subianto who was making an official visit to the country.
The President and his entourage at London's Stansted Airport, Wednesday at 08.42 local time.
"The weather in London is currently very cold where the temperature reaches minus one degree," quoted from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat in Jakarta, Thursday, November 21.
Prabowo in that situation was seen wearing a black long robe to protect himself from exposure to the winter temperatures that hit England.
Reporting from the BBC news, several schools in the western region of England were closed due to falling snow causing disruption to local community activities.

Residents in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Bristol reported snowfall in the early hours of Tuesday (19/11) with temperatures ranging from minus 3°C to 3°C.
The official British Government website, gov.uk, informed that the climate and natural crisis is one of the focuses of bilateral cooperation which is now a concern for Indonesia and the UK.
British Minister for Development, Women and Equality Anneliese Dodds during her visit to Jakarta, Tuesday (17/9), signed Britain's commitment to help accelerate the global transition to clean energy and efforts to tackle climate change.
President Prabowo's arrival to London this time was part of a series of visits to his first overseas visit as president. Previously, Prabowo visited Brazil to attend the G20 Summit.
Arriving in London, Prabowo was greeted with a red carpet and also by British royal representative Deputy Lieutenant Charles Anderson.
"Welcome," Charles told President Prabowo.
"Thank you," said President Prabowo while saluting one by one the British royal side who attended and the Indonesian Embassy in London.
