Pramono Anung Attends Little Tokyo Edition Event, Promises To Create A Wibu And Wota Festival If He Becomes Governor Of Jakarta
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung took a chance with the 'Little Tokyo' community dominated by Gen Z and Millennials in Pluit Junction, Penjaringan, North Jakarta (Jakut).
Even though the weather was rainy, Pramono's steps did not dampen the 'Captain Tsubasa' shirt from meeting young Japanese anime lovers, with cosplay being a character on Dragonball to Sailormoon.
Pramono was immediately greeted by members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PDI-P (PDIP) faction as well as the executor of the Little Tokyo Junction event, Hardiyanto Kenneth and Japanese cultural lovers. This event was also attended by Sokorahen Genki who played Captain Tsubasa.
The visitors, the majority of whom are young people, seemed so enthusiastic when welcoming the arrival of Pramono Anung. By using various cosplays of various Japanese anime, visitors seemed to be competing to take selfies with Pramono Anung.
Pramono was engrossed in the chant when AKB 48's 'Heavy Rotation' music, which was re-populated by JKT 48, compactly lit an orange ighstick. He seemed to let go in front of the young Japanese cultural lover.
"MyohonTikuse kazen tobi jyoko jya jya faibo waipa," shouted they starting a song that was also played in Indonesian by JKT48.
When they entered the chorus, they changed their oshi name to 'Mas Pram'. It is known that oshi is a term for the group idol members who come from Japan.
"Chozsetu kawaii Mas Pram," they exclaimed, adding the song Heavy Rotation.

Not only 'chanting' some of them also danced typical dances for Japanese group idols 'wotagei' using an orange lightstick in front of Pramono Anung. Pramono did not hesitate to dance using a lightstick.
Pramono also discussed that the activity which was held on Tuesday 19 November was held every year, to attract tourists to Jakarta, which is no longer the capital by law (UU).
"I want an event like this to be scheduled every year with bigger and better. This is a potential tourism in Jakarta," Pramono said in a written statement, Wednesday, November 20.
Meanwhile, the executor of the Little Tokyo Junction event, Hardiyanto Kenneth, supports Pramono Anung's discourse. According to the man who is familiarly called Bang Kent, he said that Japanese and Korean cultural lovers in Jakarta have great potential to get a forum for expression, considering that Jakarta is a metropolitan city that is rich in community diversity and cultural activities.
"I support Mas Pram's discourse if activities like this are held every year, so that this activity can also attract tourists to go to Jakarta," said Kent.
According to Kent, activities of Japanese and Korean cultural lovers can hold a number of events in the form of cultural discussions, film screenings, or experience sharing sessions. Then you can also hold a Japanese and Korean Cultural Event in Jakarta.
"The event can imitate the concept of Japanese matsuri with traditional decorations, art performances (taiko, traditional dances, kabuli), and Japanese food booths. Then organize cosplay events, anime and manga bazaars, or Japanese game tournaments such as Street Fighter and Mario Kart. In addition, collaboration with cultural centers at the Embassy, either Japan or Korea," he explained.
Kent also admitted that if this community in Jakarta had no room to be creative, the presence of a candidate for governor from the PDI-P, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno, could be a new hope.
"The presence of Mas Pram as governor can be a new hope to accommodate young people to have creative space," he said.
Also conveyed by the EO leadership at the Little Tokyo Edition event, Rizki Karismana who is familiarly called Zhuge Kamiya from Zhuge Kreatif Indonesia, that the presence of Mas Pram is an additional fuel of enthusiasm for community sustainability in Jakarta.
"I hope that with the fulfillment of Mr. Pram's presence in the event with the theme "Nge-chant with Mr. Pram", the community will be more enthusiastic because it gets support from the Candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta, especially when he had time to try the wotagei dance. Hopefully, Mr. Pram will be successful as Governor and can support our activities in a sustainable manner." he said.
