Improvement Of Bandung Account Synthetic Grass Targeted To Be Completed Before New Year's Eve

JABAR - The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) targets the revitalization of Bandung Square to be completed before New Year's Eve. This effort is so that residents can celebrate the turn of the year at that location.

Head of the Housing and Settlement Areas (DPKP) of Bandung City, Rizki Kusrulyadi, said that his party was revitalizing the square by replacing synthetic grass which had been a playground for the community and tourists.

"Now there is a maintenance process, hopefully before the new year the community can take advantage of it," he said in Bandung, Wednesday, November 20, was confiscated by Antara.

Rizki said that for the time being his party is currently closing the square area for the safety of the community during construction.

He explained that the repair on this synthetic grass is the first stage for the overall arrangement of the Bandung Grand Mosque area.

"For the first phase, the budget is IDR 2.8 billion and for the second stage we will do it in 2025, that is only the arrangement of access to the Great Mosque and to the library," he said.

Furthermore, he appealed to the public to refrain from being around the square because there would be vehicles entering and leaving for revitalization.

"Because it needs the mobilization of transportation and everything is the demolition of all kinds. So it is also dangerous if for example it goes there," he said.

Rizki said that this revitalization was part of the Bandung City Government's efforts to improve public facilities and create a better public space.

"The point is we are repairing the synthetic grass for the convenience and safety of the residents there," he said.
