Bogor Pilwalkot Logistics Preparation Reaches 95 Percent

BOGOR - The General Election Commission for Bogor City, West Java, said that the preparation for the simultaneous regional elections in its territory had reached 95 percent.

Chairman of the Bogor City KPU M. Habibi Zaenal Arifin said this week his party would distribute logistics to the District Election Committee (PPK) this week.

The logistics that will be distributed include 1.6 million ballots consisting of 836,324 thousand ballots for the Governor and Deputy Governor of West Java, and 838,324 thousand for the Election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bogor. Then 6,120 ballot booths, and 3,072 ballot boxes.

"We will distribute the logistics, God willing, to the PPK, a maximum of D-5 H-5 later to PPS H-3 later D-1 to their respective TPS," he explained.

In addition, Habibi said, the Bogor City KPU will also prepare a polling station (TPS) at 1,530 predetermined points. Where the layout of the TPS is determined by the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS).

"We have given it because the layout has changed, it is also different from during the election," said Habibi.

Head of the Technical Division of the Bogor City KPU, Dian Ashabul Yamin, said that currently the Pilkada logistics is in the process of being packaged.

"Currently, we are entering ballots and polling stations into ballot boxes. Damaged ballots have also been replaced," said Dian.
