APK Outrages Damaged, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Team Deploys Mass Organizations And Volunteers

JAKARTA - Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's winning team deployed community organizations (ormas) and volunteers to patrol. This step is a massive follow-up to the destruction of the campaign prop (APK) pair number one.

"Today we want to defend ourselves or we want to take preventive measures by uniting with all elements supporting RIDO (Ridwan Kamil-Suswono), namely political parties, mass organizations and volunteers we will conduct patrols or form a quick reaction team to oversee the RIDO APK throughout DKI Jakarta," said Secretary of the RIDO Winning Team, Basri Baco, Tuesday, November 19, evening.

There are several mass organizations involved in patrols, such as Pemuda Pancasila (PP), the Golkar Party Youth Force (AMPG), Bang Japar, BPPKB Banten. They are divided into the task of conducting patrols in each sub-district, especially in areas that are considered vulnerable and frequent destruction and vandalism.

Patrol activities were carried out because his party felt that the reports that had been made to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) had not received confirmation.

"We have to do this because several times we have complained to Bawaslu regarding the destruction of the APK, because the question of Bawaslu is always the same, who is the culprit and we cannot know for sure who the perpetrator is," he said.

Furthermore, Baco emphasized that this instruction was only to protect oneself. He ensured that mass organizations and volunteers supporting Ridwan Kamil-Suswono would not do the same by destroying other candidate pairs' APKs.

"We will issue this order tonight officially because it feels like there is only 1 week left, this patience feels enough for us. However, we will still not take the same action against what they are doing, but today we are guarding our APK. Our position is to survive, our position is to protect ourselves, "he said.

In addition, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's Legal Team, Muslim Jaya Butar Butar, said that his party had reported cases of destruction of the APB and vandalism to the Bawaslu market.

The first time it was reported was September 30, 2024 in the Cakung area as many as 30 APKs which were damaged and completely crossed out.

Second, on October 14, 2023, the RIDO Legal Team also reported the destruction of the APK on Jalan Raya Pulau Gebang, Cakung and Raden Intan, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta as many as 25 APK.

Third, on October 23, his party also reported the destruction of the APK in Tanah Abang, as many as 15 APKs.

Fourth, the destruction of the APK was reported on November 18, which occurred on all roads of Supomo, Tebet, and Mampang as many as 30 APKs.

Finally, reports of vandalism occurred along Kiai Maja's road in South Jakarta, there were approximately 30 APKs as well.

"All of Bawaslu's answers ask us who did it, so that our reports are not received on average. Because this perpetrator is what we have to look for," said Muslim.
