Mataram District Court Holds First Trial Of Corruption For The NTB Dompu Health Center Project Next Week
The inaugural trial of the corruption case for the construction project of the Dompu City Health Center building for the 2021 fiscal year with the defendants Abubakar Husain and Yanrik will be held on Wednesday, November 27 next week.
"Based on the determination of the chairman of the court, the inaugural trial of the two defendants is scheduled for November 27, 2024," said Mataram District Court (PN) spokesman Kelik Trimargo in Mataram, Tuesday, November 19, confiscated by Antara.
In addition to the agenda of the inaugural trial, the Mataram District Court also determined the panel of judges in charge of hearing the cases belonging to the two defendants.
"The assembly, Isrin Surya Kurniasih as chairman with members Lalu Moh. Sandi Iramaya and Fadhli Hanra. That is the composition of the assembly for the trial belonging to the two defendants," he said.
He conveyed that the appointment of the Head of the Mataram District Court was a follow-up to the registration of the indictment files belonging to the two defendants from the Dompu District Attorney's Office.
"He delegated it (registered) Monday (18 November) yesterday," he said.
According to data accessed through the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) page of the Mataram District Court, the cases belonging to the two defendants were registered at the Mataram District Court with Number: 38/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Mtr, for the defendant Abubakar Husain, and Number: 39/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Mtr, for the defendant Yanrik.
The Head of the Kejari Dompu Burhanuddin previously stated that the files belonging to the two defendants were complete at the investigation stage. His party has followed up on the results of the prosecutor's research by detaining the two defendants at the Class IIB Dompu Prison.
Abubakar Husain in this case acts as a project commitment maker (PPK). Meanwhile, Yanrik is the project implementer of PT Citra Andika Utama, which is based in Bima Regency.
Yanruk Company carried out a project with a contract value of Rp7.95 billion from a budget ceiling of Rp8.05 billion. The government distributed the development budget from the APBD through the Dompu Health Office.
From the investigation process, it was revealed that indications of state financial losses were in accordance with the results of the audit of the NTB Inspectorate worth Rp944 million. Losses arise from allegations of inflating material prices.

Thus, the two defendants in this case are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) and/or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph (1) letter b of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.
Furthermore, the defendant Yanrik in this case was recorded as a recidivist of a criminal act of corruption. He was previously sentenced to 1 year and 2 months in prison based on the inkrah decision of the Mataram District Court in mid-December 2023.
Yanrik received this punishment in the corruption case in the procurement of metrological tools complete with other facilities and infrastructure at the Dompu Regency Industry and Trade Office for the 2018 fiscal year.
In the project, Yanrik acted as the project implementer stated by the judge to receive benefits from state financial losses.
