In Front Of Mexican President Prabowo: Viva Zapata!
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto called for 'Viva Zapata!' in the presence of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo at a meeting of leaders of MIKTA or Mexican countries, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, and Australia on the sidelines of the G20 Summit, in Brazil, Monday, November 18 local time.
Based on a video uploaded via the Presidential Secretariat YouTube Tuesday, November 19, initially the five leaders who were members of the MIKTA Forum were talking together in an informal conversation, in a standing position and full of jokes.
President Prabowo then proposed to the MIKTA leaders that there must be a high-level meeting.
"In the city of Mexico," Prabowo said in the friendly casual talk session, which was confiscated by Antara.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum responded positively to Prabowo's proposal. "You will all be welcomed," said President Sheinbaum.

"Decisions can be agreed upon," said the other leaders at the same time.
A moment later President Prabowo called for "Viva Zapata!".
"Viva Zapata!" said President Prabowo, bending his right hand as high as his chest.

The call sparked the big smile of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. Zapata or a figure whose full name is Emiliano Zapata who defended the small people in the 1910s.
"Viva Zapata!" means a call "Long live Zapata!". In 1952 there was also a film of the same name that tells the story of Emiliano Zapata's life, directed by Elia Kazan and starring Marlon Brando.
The meeting of MIKTA 2024 countries was held by Mexico as the chair of this year's MiKTA, and took place in one of the rooms in the Museum of Modern Art (MAM), Rio de Janeiro, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit, in Brazil.
Leaders' Gathering activities took place in an informal atmosphere, starting with a briefing session between MIKTA leaders, namely Mexico, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Turkey, and Australia.
After that, the event continued with a joint photo session that reflected the cohesiveness and solidarity between MIKTA members.
On this occasion, the leaders highlighted the importance of strengthening relations between member countries in facing global challenges.
All MIKTA leaders were present on the occasion, namely President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoyan, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
