Meta AI In Ray-Ban Smart Glasses Expanded To New Countries
JAKARTA Meta AI has been launched into Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses some time ago, but its availability is still limited. Now, the virtual assistant is starting to expand to a number of new countries.
On Monday, November 18, Meta revealed that the virtual assistant based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for these smart glasses began to be released to four new countries. A number of countries that will gain this new capability are France, Italy, Ireland, and Spain.
When this assistant is available on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, users can ask any questions and Meta AI will provide a real-time answer. Unfortunately, the ability to ask questions related to what is being viewed is not yet available.
"(users) can interact with Meta AI using their voices to get answers to general questions. The ability to get answers to questions about what you see isn't yet available outside the US and Canada," Meta said.

To maximize the interaction between the device and its users, Meta AI can be accessed in four languages. Currently, the virtual assistant is only available in English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
Meta plans to bring the feature to more countries in the future, including in European territory. Meta also plans to increase the capabilities of its virtual assistants so that the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses can be more sophisticated than ever before.
"We are excited to start bringing Meta AI and its innovative features to some areas in the EU and look forward to expanding it to more European countries soon," explains Meta.
