Today's Indonesia Vs Saudi Arabia Match, Transjakarta Extends Operational Hours At GBK

PT Transjakarta has extended its bus operating hours on routes that cross the bus stop in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area during the match between the Indonesian national team and Saudi Arabia tonight.

Transjakarta services, which usually operate from 05.00 WIB to 22.00 WIB, will be extended until 23.00 WIB.

In addition to regular services, there is also a Night Transportation (AMARI) service that operates from 22.00 WIB 05.00 WIB in 14 main corridors.

"The extension of service operating hours is carried out on routes that intersect with the SUGBK area," said Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transjakarta, Ayu Wardhani in a statement, Tuesday, November 19.

More specifically, the route that will be extended operational time is corridor 1 (Blok M-Kota), corridor 2 (National Monument-Pulogadung), corridor 13 (Tegal Mampang-Puri Beta), route 3F (Senayan Bank DKI-Kalideres), route 5C (Juanda-PGC), route 9C (Bundaran Senayan-Pinang Ranti), and route 10H (Bundaran Senayan-Tanjung Priok).

Ayu revealed that this service extension was carried out to facilitate the mobility of the community, especially the audience of Indonesia's young Garuda matches to go to the event location and return to their respective homes after the match was over.

"It is hoped that this service extension can be an alternative choice of public transportation to and from SUGBK so that it will reduce traffic density and reduce air pollution in Jakarta," explained Ayu.

The Indonesian national team will host Saudi Arabia in the sixth match of Group C of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, November 19, 2024.

The match is very important for the Garuda Squad to gain points and improve its position in the standings. So far, Shin Tae-yong's team is at the bottom of the standings with three points from the results of three draws and two defeats.

After successfully detaining Saudi Arabia in the first meeting in the away match, September 5, 2024, the Indonesian national team is now motivated to earn three points.
