Anticipate Disasters During The 2024 Pilkada, Bogor Will Build Emergency TPS In Schools
JAKARTA - The Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) has prepared an option for an emergency polling place (TPS) to anticipate natural disasters during the 2024 Pilkada.
The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, explained that one of the emergency polling stations options is a school building in the nearest neighborhood.
"We have discussed this. Later (disaster-prone TPS) can be shifted to schools," said Ajat while reviewing the command center facility or command center at the Cibinong Regional Secretariat (Sekda), Monday, November 18, which was confiscated by Antara.
The Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) recorded 24 locations out of a total of 7,908 polling stations in Bogor Regency which fall into the category of disaster-prone areas.
To facilitate the coordination of Pilkada officers with stakeholders, the Bogor Regency Government provides facilities in the form of a command center in the Pilkada Decree, Cibinong.
Ajat explained that the command center functions to monitor regional election constraints so that they can be followed up by related parties.
"From the side of the information we have prepared, God willing, it is sufficient, meaning that the organizers in the field can also directly report real time reporting information to us," said Ajat.
The command center has prepared 10 operators consisting of several relevant regional apparatus, such as from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) to the Transportation Service (Dishub).
"So the TPS is not only reporting on voting but also the conditions there, for example there are reports like that (disasters), we can immediately move it to several alternatives," he said.
