Charta Politica Survey: Dedie-Jenal Win 42 Percent In Pilwalkot Bogor 2024

BOGOR Charta Politica Indonesia, a policy research institute and public opinion, released the results of the electability survey of Dedie A. Rachim's pair Jenal Mutaqin at the peak of electability with 42 percent in the 2024 Bogor Pilwakot.

The survey was conducted on 8-12 November 2024 involving 400 respondents spread across 6 sub-districts in Bogor City.

The survey results show that the Dedie A. Rachim 'Jenal Mutaqin pair is at the peak of electability with 42.0%, ahead of their closest competitor, Atang Trisnanto-Anida Allivia (22.0%).

The next position is filled by the couple Sendi Ferdiansyah Melli Darsa (14.3%), Raendri Rayendra Eka Maulana (13.0%), and Rena Da Frina Teddy Risandi (4.5%).

The Dedie 'Jenal pair experienced an increase in electability of 2.2% compared to the previous survey in September 2024, while Atang Anrida only increased 0.2%. The significant difference in electability strengthened Dedie's position as a superior pair in the Bogor City Pilkada.

The availability of voters is also a key factor. As many as 71% of Dedie's pair voters said they were solid with their choice, the highest number compared to other pairs of candidates.

This survey also noted the high level of public awareness of the implementation of the Bogor City Pilkada. A total of 96.3% of respondents know the date of the Pilkada implementation, an increase from the previous survey in September which was at 89.0%.

Charta Politica researcher, Ardha Ranadireksa, explained that the trends and data showed the dominance of the Dedie A. Rachim Jenal Mutaqin pair in the Bogor City Pilkada.

"With the high level of voter availability and the increasing trend of electability, Dedie Jenal is in a very strong position towards the upcoming Pilkada," he said.

To note, this survey was conducted using a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of 4.9% and a 95% confidence level.
