The Bidar boat competition is used as a tradition as well as a tourist attraction to support regional progress, especially tourism in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra.

The Acting Regent of Muara Enim Henky Putrawan in Muara Enim said the boat competition held at Lake Cecuho was a symbol of the spirit of togetherness for the people of Serasan Sekasang.

The race prioritized the team's cohesiveness as the main factor in the speed of driving the boat. In addition, this tradition not only tests the scarcity of rowing but is also a means of strengthening the silaturahim rope.
