RIDO Prepares A Ready-to-Work Training Program (LAKSA) For The Young Generation Of Jakarta
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta number 1, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) prepares a Ready to Work Training Program (LAKSA) designed to empower the younger generation through industrial needs-based training.
This was conveyed by Suswono in the Cagub-Cawagub Jakarta 2024-2029 Program Dialogue organized by the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) at Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta, Saturday, November 16.
"The LAKSA program aims to answer the challenges of employment in Jakarta, especially by reducing the skills gap which is often the main obstacle in the world of work," said Suswono in his statement.
Suswono explained that every individual needs to have competence that allows them to contribute in real terms.
"The training program we designed will help young Jakartans achieve their best potential," he said.
The Minister of Agriculture for the 2009-2014 period explained, with the latest professional standard-based curriculum, the LAKSA Program offers comprehensive and relevant training to prepare participants to compete at the national and global levels.
Collaboration with PII and educational institutions is a key element of this program. "The training offered not only improves technical skills, but also ensures that graduates have industrially recognized certification," he said.
He believes that everyone who has the desire to develop deserves the opportunity. "Our training path is designed to reach all levels of society, including those who come to Jakarta without adequate skills," said Suswono.
Jakarta that is advancing is Jakarta that empowers its citizens. "Through this program, we want to make sure that young people in Jakarta not only dream, but also have skills and opportunities to realize their dreams," he said.
