Nissan Introduces N7 Electric Sedan For The Chinese Market, Sold Next Year

JAKARTA - The joint venture Dongfeng-Nissan officially launched an electric sedan called N7 at the recent Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition.

N7 is the first model built with the latest modular architecture developed by the company, specifically designed for electric vehicle lines.

Developed in China, the model promises a different driving experience with the top comfort and is equipped with a series of smart and leading technologies.

Launching from Nissan's official website, Saturday, November 16, N7 is positioned as medium-sized with a length of 4,930 mm, a width of 1,895 mm, a height of 1,487 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,915 mm.

Just like the current Nissan model, the car has a distinctive V-Motion design language by displaying an exterior flowing and futuristic in its class.

In the interior, the N7 Dongfeng-Nissan has a variety of advanced features such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P infotainment system which promises more advanced speed and accuracy of computing.

The car also has an autonomous driving system known as 'Navigate on Autopilot'. This technology is the result of factory cooperation with autonomous driving technology company from China, Momenta.

The presence of the sedan is also in line with the company's vision, namely The Arc. Through this plan, manufacturers from Japan intend to accelerate the development and export of new energy vehicles (New Energy Vehicles) in the bamboo curtain country.

It is hoped that Nissan will reveal details of specifications from N7 approaching its sales phase which will begin in the first half of next year.

Previously, the N7 was introduced to the Beijing Motor Show in April with Nissan Epoch Concept in conjunction with other preview models such as Epic Concept, Era Concept, and Evo Concept.
