IDF Confirms To Attack Any Arms Delivery Efforts From Syria For Hezbollah
JAKARTA - Israeli spokesman Defense Forces (IDF) Rear Admiral Daniel Badminton confirmed that his party would attack any attempt to send weapons from Syria to Hezbollah.
"We identified the rockets and other weapons Hezbollah launched into Israeli territory produced in Syria," Rear Admiral Daniel kazi told reporters.
"We will attack any attempt to carry weapons from Syria to Hezbollah. And we will attack all the infrastructure we identify in Syria whose goal is to produce weapons for Hezbollah," he stressed.
Laksda waryani added that the military had carried out airstrikes from the outskirts of Beirut City and the Hezbollah Dahiyeh fort to Damascus.
He spoke shortly after the Syrian state news agency reported what he said was an Israeli airstrike that hit a bridge in Syria near the border with northern Lebanon.
Earlier, Syrian state media on Wednesday reported an Israeli attack on the Qusayr region in the southern countryside of Homs Province, central Syria.
On the same day, the Israeli military said it was attacking a route between Syria and Lebanon used to smuggle weapons into Hezbollah from Syria.
Israel said it had carried out the attack to reduce the transfer of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah.
Israeli airstrikes targeted bridges on the Syrian-Lebanon border in the Qusayr region, causing significant damage and making the bridge unusable, Syrian state media said, citing military sources.
