President Prabowo Expects Australia's Increased Participation In Indonesia's Economy

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto hopes that Indonesia can improve good relations and cooperate with neighboring countries, including Australia.

He said this when receiving an honorary visit from the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, in Lima, Peru, Thursday (14/11.

This visit is an opportunity for the two leaders to strengthen diplomatic relations while strengthening cooperation in various strategic fields between Indonesia and Australia.

During the meeting, PM Albanese appreciated President Prabowo's global geopolitical steps to make his first foreign visit to China and the United States at the same time. PM Albanese also hopes that Indonesia-Australia relations and cooperation will be closer, especially in agriculture, education and health.

"I want to see more cooperation between our two countries. I hope this relationship will become stronger in the future," said PM Albanese, citing the Cabinet Secretariat website, Friday, November 15.

Meanwhile, President Prabowo emphasized the strong friendship between Indonesia and Australia. As a neighbor and good friend of Indonesia, President Prabowo emphasized his commitment to continue to increase cooperation with Australia in various fields.

"We consider Australia as a good friend of Indonesia. We want to further strengthen cooperation in various fields, including Australia's participation in the Indonesian economy," said President Prabowo.

President Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the cooperation that has been established between the two countries.

On that occasion, President Prabowo also invited Australia to establish good relations and cooperate with other countries.

"Overall, I think we have managed the relationship between us very well. And I want to improve all relations with the neighboring countries around us," said President Prabowo.
