Kate Middleton's Style Of Using Queen Elizabeth's Ears During Hero's Day

JAKARTA - After undergoing cancer treatment, Kate Middleton slowly returned to her British royal duties and attended a number of official events.

Prince William's wife attended the annual Hero's Day event in England. The event was led by King Charles and held at The Cenotaph, London on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Kate looks elegant wearing a black coat from designer Catherine Walker. This setting has a firm structure with fire ribbons and decorations on the shoulder. It also blends the appearance with a black poppy flower-style fascinator, and silver brooch.

Quoted by VOI from the People page on Monday, November 11, 2024, what attracted attention was Kate wearing Queen Elizabeth II's Bahrain Pearl Drop earrings.

This injection is a gift from King Bahrain in 1947. Kate previously wore the earrings at the Remembrance Sunday ceremony in 2016 and 2019, as well as at the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral in 2021.

At the event, Kate witnessed a ceremony from the balcony of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building with Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, where she was beside her. Meanwhile, Queen Camilla was not present, because she was suffering from respiratory infection.

Kate Middleton often chooses clothes like this to attend the Remembrance Sunday ceremony. Last year, she wore black clothes from designer Catherine Walker. She also wore the same coat at a ceremony in 2019, equipped with three poppie flowers and a small gold brooch.

Apart from Catherine Walker, Kate also often wears clothes from Alexander McQueen, Temperley London, and Diane von Furstenberg for this annual event, which is one of the important moments in the royal calendar.

At this ceremony, senior members of the royal family and the government gathered to pay their respects to members of the military or heroes who died in World Wars I and II.

On the previous Saturday night, Kate also attended the Royal British Legion Remembrance Festival at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate and commemorate the services of the Armed Forces.

She wore a simple black coated dress combined with a Chanel bag, Monica Vinader's pearl necklace, and Princess Diana's Collingwood pearl earrings. Not to forget, she also wore the diamond diamond ring and sapphire belonging to the deceased.

This weekend's performance marks the first time Kate has returned to official royal duty. Earlier in June, Kate revealed through social media that she would slowly return to her royal duties after undergoing cancer treatment.
