Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT Offroad Car Officially Sold In US Equivalent To IDR 800 Million
Hyundai Ioniq 5 XRT was launched last September which focuses on off-road capabilities.
Positioned among the standard variants with type N as the highest performance, this car has announced its official price for the United States (US) market.
Launching from InsideEVs, Monday, November 11, Ioniq 5 XRT is priced at 56,875 US dollars or equivalent to Rp888.9 million. The car is only available in the all-wheel drive variant.
In terms of exteriors, XRT has a more resilient appearance with a special bumper, sideskirt, and 18-inch aluminum rim wrapped in an off-road 235/60 tire. Overall, this car is suitable to run in the arena of all terrain rather than just walking on the paved highway.
The changes did not stop there, Hyundai also increased the ground clearance by 0.9 inches which pushed the angle of the approach up to 19.8 degrees and departure 30 degrees. Because prioritizing off-road capabilities, Ioniq 5 XRT also has a different suspension and is very pleasant to drive on land roads.
Moving to the inside, the crossover has an H-Tex seat with the 'XRT' logo and pattern with a black headliner.
The interior is also equipped with physical control for a positioned front seat on new mid-control found around twin cupholders along with wireless chargers for mobile phones.
The climate control section has also been redesigned, along with the steering wheel and the rear seat that has been equipped with a heating chair.
The battery from Ioniq 5 XRT is also upgraded which has a capacity of 84 kWh with a distance of 416 km in full charging. Furthermore, the crossover has a special driving mode for XRT types, namely Snow, Sand, and Mud.
The car will certainly be produced at the Hyundai Metaplan factory in Georgia, USA along with other types. The South Korean manufacturer also confirmed Ioniq 5 XRT will be delivered to customers before 2024 ends.
