To Megawati, Pramono Asks Her To Be Resigned To Focus On Managing Jakarta
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung said that he had spoken privately with the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri regarding her candidacy in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
To Megawati, Pramono asked that she be donated from the party to be able to focus on managing Jakarta if she won the DKI Regional Election.
This was conveyed by Pramono during the declaration of support from the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Santri Ulema Forum (FUSI) in the Senen area, Central Jakarta, Sunday, November 10.
"I have conveyed specifically to Mrs. Mega, as the general chairman of me in the party. I said, 'Mbak, because I have been (at PDIP) 28 years old, Ms. Who forced me to become governor, now I want to force Mbak too to really donate to do something for the people of Jakarta", said Pramono.
This request was conveyed by Pramono to emphasize his position that would not be controlled by party interests if he served as Governor of DKI Jakarta.
Moreover, the former Secretary General of PDIP feels that he does not have any burden on the party bearing the bull symbol.
"I have no burden on anyone, including to my party. It can be noted openly, it has no burden. I want to work for the people of Jakarta," he said.
