GoTo Group Collaboration, Tencent Cloud, And Alibaba Cloud Encourage Indonesia's Digital Transformation
JAKARTA - GoTo Group, Tencent Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud announced that they have signed an agreement to strengthen cloud computing infrastructure (cloud) and develop local digital talent in Indonesia.
Announced in the Indonesia-China Business Forum and witnessed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, this step affirms a joint commitment to accelerate Indonesia's digital transformation and encourage economic growth.
Through this agreement, the three companies will cooperate with the Indonesian government and are committed to providing Indonesian workers with the skills needed in order to excel in the global digital economy.
In addition, Tencent Cloud will also build its third Internet Data Center (IDC) in Indonesia, as part of a new commitment worth around US$500 million in the form of infrastructure, resources, and investment in Indonesia by 2030.
Meanwhile, Alibaba Cloud, which is the first major cloud service provider to build local infrastructure in Indonesia, has set up three data centers and is working with various local educational institutions to train nearly 400,000 individuals in cloud and AI fields.

Patrick hopes that through this collaboration, GoTo can provide a solid foundation for users and their partners, to support sustainable economic growth, encourage innovation, and position Indonesia as a leader in digital transformation in Southeast Asia.
