Greet Gen-Z, Geisha Raises The Butterfly Era Phenomenon In Single Kasmaran

JAKARTA - Geisha, who has been in the national music industry for 15 years, is loyal to his efforts to get closer to listeners from Gen Z.

Regina Poetiray (vocals), Roby Satria (guitar), Nard (bass), and Dhan (drums) tried to lift a phenomenon close to Gen Z through the latest single entitled Kasmaran.

This song raises the phenomenon of butterfly era' which has recently become a trend, namely the condition when a person feels a nervous and pounded sensation, as if there are many butterflys flying inside him.

The term butterfly era' itself is widely used by Gen Z circles to describe their feelings when they fall in love.

"This song tells about feelings when we fall in love, and how a person's aura can change everything," said Roby Satria in his statement, Friday, November 8.

With Regina's vocals and modern arrangements, Geisha hopes that her new single can become an anthem for many people, especially Gen Z, who is feeling the sweetness of love.

"We want listeners to feel the vibration of that feeling through strong tones and lyrics," Roby continued.

Meanwhile, 'Kasmaran' was written by Roby Satria with the help of Irwan Simanjuntak who also doubles as a producer.

Irwan also gave a musical touch that combines city pop elements with more mature and contemporary nuances.

Through Kasmaran and some of the songs released recently, Geisha hopes they will continue to be known, showing that they continue to grow while remaining loyal to the musical identity that has raised their name.

The song "Kasmaran" is already available on various digital music platforms, and the music video can be watched on the YouTube channel Musica Studios.
