Luka Victims In Northern Gaza Died Due To Lack Of Surgeon Specialist
JAKARTA - A medical source in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, said a number of injured victims at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern part of the Palestinian enclave died due to a lack of surgeons.
In addition, most of the injured arrived at the hospital on foot, because there was not a single ambulance in the northern Gaza Strip.
Israeli occupation soldiers detained most of the medical staff 10 days ago, and only two doctors and several nurses are still on duty, the source told WAFA, as quoted November 7.
They showed that many of the injured died on the road because they could not reach the hospital.
The source added that a number of children and medical staff were injured as a result of direct and random bombings by Israeli occupation soldiers against buildings affiliated with the hospital.
They showed that despite calls made by hospital administrations to the world and international and humanitarian institutions, they did not receive any responses.
Israeli forces are known to continue the aggression in the northern region of Gaza, which has been going on for 33 consecutive days, carrying out intense land and air bombings, a stringent siege that prevents the entry of food, water and medicine to force residents to flee south.
During 33 days, aggression in the northern region killed about 1000 people, left hundreds injured, as well as the destruction of entire residential areas and the evacuation of thousands of residents to the south.
Israeli forces are still preventing the medical team from reaching injured victims in the northern Gaza Strip to provide them with medical assistance, given the suspension of health services, civil defense, ambulances, and emergency services.
