Khephren Thuram Doesn't Want To Be Called Titisan Pogba At Juventus
JAKARTA - Juventus will travel to Lille headquarters, Stade Pierre-Mauroy, in the fourth match of the 2024/2025 Champions League, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, early morning WIB.
One of the important players in the Old Lady, Khephren Thuram, emphasized that he was not Paul Pogba's title.
The 23-year-old midfielder is predicted to be Pogba's heir to Juventus after celebrating a team goal like his idol when he beat Udinese 2-0 last weekend.
"At all not. There are no two Pogbas. He is a tough player and has proven it in his career."
"I'm trying to be the best version of myself. However, I can't say that I am his heir," Thuram said at Ilbianconero.

Juventus bagged six points from three Champions League games. They brought a comeback while visiting Lille after losing 0-1 against Vfb Stuttgart in the last match.
The Bianconeri are certainly very wary of Lille. The Ligue 1 club is in self-confidence thanks to beating two big clubs, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, in the previous two Champions League games.
However, Thuram, who comes from France, emphasized that Juventus is well prepared and has ambitions to get full points.
"It's an amazing team who played well football with a really good coach, but we're ready."
"They control the ball and give freedom to their players. I'm surprised they have beaten some of Europe's top clubs. Lille have tough players and they are confident."
"We have prepared ourselves for the match as we usually do. We respect the opponent and are confident. We will give everything tomorrow," Thuram said at a press conference on Monday, November 4, 2024.
Thuram has yet to score his first goal for Juventus. However, he contributed to Maduka Okeye's own goal when he beat Udinese.
In order to make more contributions, he even spoke seriously with Timothy Weah who is a former Lille player.
"My father and brother called me and congratulated me (after the match against Udinese)."
"My dad told me where I could grow and that's the most important thing."
"Then, Weah told me about Lille. However, I already know her well. I've played against them a lot," said Thuram.
