Police Arrest Pimp And Assistant For TIP Perpetrators In Jambi
JAKARTA - The police arrested two men who were involved in the crime of trafficking in persons (TPPO) in Jambi City, each acting as pimps and assistants.
The arrests were made after the TIP raids were carried out at several hotels and nightclubs in Jambi City on Sunday, November 3 in the morning.
"We suspect these two people are involved in trafficking in persons," said Head of Public Relations of Jambi Police Ipda Deddy Hariyadi in Jambi, Tuesday, November 5, confiscated by Antara.
The identities of pimps are M (20) a resident of Solok Village, Jambi City and P (18) a resident of Eka Jaya Village.
From this arrest, Rp410 thousand was also secured, three cellphones.
The money, said Deddy, was given to the victim.

After being interrogated, the perpetrator admitted his actions and benefited.
For his actions, the alleged perpetrator of the TIP case is subject to Article 2 Paragraph (1) and/or Article 20 and/or Article 11 and/or Article 12 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO).
