797 Stalls Of Grobogan's Gubug Market Burnt Out, Police Conduct Investigation

JAKARTA - The police investigated the fire that hit Gubug Market, Grobogan Regency, Central Java, which occurred on Monday, November 4 evening until Tuesday, November 5 in the morning.

Grobogan Police Chief AKBP Dedi Anung Kurniawan said the fire first appeared in the northern part of the market.

"The fire was first discovered on Monday night at around 23.30 WIB on the north side of the market," he said in Grobogan, Tuesday, November 5, which was confiscated by Antara.

From the temporary data collection, he said, 797 kiosks, stalls, and stalls of traders were burned down in the incident.

He said joint officers could extinguish the fire that destroyed the Gubug Market on Tuesday at around 05.30 WIB.

He ensured that there were no casualties in the unfortunate incident.

Local police and police personnel, he said, were still stationed at the scene for the security process.

The investigation into the cause of the fire, he continued, will be carried out by officers from the Central Java Regional Police Forensic Laboratory.
