Ronald Tannur's Mother Becomes Suspect Of Bribery For Her Child Free Verdict
The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named Meirizka Widjaja as a new suspect in the alleged bribery and gratification case of the defendant Ronald Tannur's acquittal.
Meirizka Widjaja is known to be the mother of Ronald Tannur or the wife of Edward Tannur.
"Investigators have raised the status of MW from witness to suspect," said the Director of Investigation at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Abudl Qohar, to reporters, Monday, November 4.
Meirizka Widjaja was examined as a witness today. The examination took place at the East Java High Prosecutor's Office.
The determination of Ronald Tanuur's mother as a suspect, said Qohar, after investigators found sufficient evidence related to allegations of bribery and or gratification.
"Investigators have found sufficient evidence of corruption, namely bribery and/or certification committed by MW," said Qohar.

In this case, the AGO has named five suspects. Three of them are Surabaya District Court Judges, namely Erintuah Damanik, Heru Hanindyo, and Mangapul.
Then, two others namely Lisa Rachmat and former Supreme Court (MA) official Zarof Ricar.
This bribery case aims to have Ronald Tannur acquitted in the alleged murder case of Dini Sera Afriyanti.
