Mataram Police Ensures Corruption Case Of NTB PUPR Heavy Equipment Rental Continues
The Mataram Police confirmed that the witness examination was active in the investigation of the alleged corruption case of renting heavy equipment from the Lombok Provincial Road Maintenance Center at the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office is still ongoing.
"We can confirm that the examination of witnesses in the heavy equipment rental case that has been going on in a marathon since last week continues," said Head of the Mataram Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) AKP Regi Halili in Mataram, Monday, November 4, which was confiscated by Antara.
Regi confirmed this based on information from the Mataram Police Corruption Crime Unit (Tipidkor). He also found out that last week there were six witnesses from the road maintenance center and the NTB PUPR Service who provided testimony as witnesses.
"Last week, six people were questioned, from the PUPR center and service, including the former head of office. This week, other witnesses will continue their agenda, including that there are also former Kadis who have not, and from related agencies," he said.
Witnesses from related agencies included in the marathon examination agenda came from the NTB Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bappenda), the NTB Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), including a tenant named Fendy from Kediri, West Lombok Regency, who lives in East Lombok Regency.
The former Head of the NTB PUPR Office who has undergone an examination named Ridwansyah. For the previous official, Sahdan, who now serves as Head of the NTB ESDM Service, it is confirmed that Kasatreskrim is still in line for examination.

Regarding the heavy equipment included in the rental object, AKP Regi has heard information from investigators that there is already a unit of confiscation of the excavator which is one of the evidence for the case. The excavator is known to have been entrusted by investigators at the Lombok Provincial Road Maintenance Office at the NTB PUPR Service.
"For other evidence, the truck has brought up the cement complainant machine, it is still in the field search," he said.
In handling this case, AKP Regi also knew that investigators had pocketed potential state financial losses with a value of at least Rp. 3 billion. The value of the loss emerged from the rental calculation from 2021 to July 2024.
