Strengthen National Fintech, AFPI Collaborates With Shenzhen Internet Finance Association
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association (AFPI) strengthens the national fintech ecosystem by establishing strategic cooperation with the Shenzhen Internet Finance Association.
The Head of External Affairs & AFPI AFPI, Harza Sandityo, said that this collaboration is expected to accelerate the growth of the fintech industry in Indonesia, as well as strengthen Indonesia's position as one of the centers of digital financial innovation in the Southeast Asia region.
"The collaboration between AFPI and SIFA will focus on several main areas, where the two associations will actively share information and insights regarding the latest regulations, technology, and trends in the fintech industry," he said in a statement, Monday, November 4.
Harza said that through this collaboration, his party will have access to the valuable knowledge and experience of fintech industry players in Shenzhen, and open up space for growth and a positive impact on the development of the fintech industry in Indonesia.
"This strategic collaboration is an important milestone for the Indonesian fintech industry. With the support from SIFA, we are optimistic that it can accelerate digital transformation in the financial sector and increase financial inclusion for the Indonesian people," he said.
Harza hopes that this strategic collaboration can contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and China in the field of the digital economy.
For information, Shenzhen is a center for technological innovation in China, has a dynamic and rapidly growing fintech ecosystem.
Harza conveyed that the collaboration with SIFA provides an opportunity for AFPI to learn from the experience and expertise of their partners in China.

He explained that Indonesia has enormous potential in developing the fintech industry, and it is believed that through this collaboration, both parties can jointly create new innovations that provide benefits to society in both countries.
