Apple Ready To Redesign Total MacBook Pro In 2026

According to a recent report from Bloomberg analyst by Mark Gurman, Apple is expected to introduce a massive redesign for the MacBook Pro in 2026. Since the last few years, Apple has generally followed the four-year design cycle for the MacBook Pro line. However, for this time, a new massive update will take place in 2026, after previously scheduled for 2025 but experiencing delays.

In the "Power On" bulletin released this week, Gurman said that the delay was related to the planned screen technology, namely the transition to OLED. This OLED screen technology has been applied to the iPad Pro M4, and is expected to be one of the main improvements to this new generation's MacBook Pro.

The 2026 version of the MacBook Pro is also rumored to come with a thinner design, different from the early Apple Silicon model which is slightly thicker. This slimmer new design is expected to maintain significant performance and quality without compromise.

Another improvement Gurman mentioned is the M6 chip which is likely to be built with a 2nm manufacturing process. In addition to providing a large performance improvement, a combination of new chips and OLED screen technology will make the MacBook Pro 2026 a highly anticipated device.

Meanwhile, for the MacBook Pro model scheduled for release in 2025, users can expect chip upgrades to the M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max. However, there are no other major changes beyond this processor update.

With a total redesign plan in 2026, Apple seems ready to provide new exciting experiences for future MacBook Pro users.
