Head Of BPC HIPMI Bone Bolango Asks Law Enforcers To Be Fair And Wise In Mardani Maming Case

JAKARTA - The case of alleged gratification that is being faced by the former Regent of Tanah Bumbu, Mardani H Maming continues to be in the spotlight. This time, it was the turn of the Chairman of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (BPC HIPMI) of Bone Bolango Regency, Zulkifli Ibrahim.

The case experienced by Mardani H Maming is related to the Mining Business License (IUP) which he issued while still serving as regent 11 years ago. However, this problem only surfaced after he completed his term of office. In fact, the IUP has been declared clean and clear (CNC) by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) for years. There are no problems from the regulatory side that have been violated," said Zulkifli in an electronic message received in Jakarta, Sunday, November 3.

He asked law enforcers to act fairly and wisely. He also highlighted the opinions of a number of legal experts who considered that there were errors in handling this case.

"From the study of legal experts, the decision in this case is full of mistakes. We hope that Mardani can be released so that he can re-committance in producing young entrepreneurs in Indonesia," he continued.

During the current transitional leadership period, he hopes that the new government can guarantee legal certainty, especially in the investment and business sectors.

We hope that the elected president can affirm his commitment to maintaining social and economic justice. Mardani H Maming's case must be resolved fairly in order to restore investor confidence and provide protection for young entrepreneurs.

Finally, Zulkifli asked special attention so that there would be no more injustices that befell the younger generation in the future.

"We don't want another Mardani H Maming. Social and economic justice must be the main foundation in achieving the vision of Golden Indonesia," he concluded.
