JAKARTA Young Wife's Guna-Ua Film will hit theaters throughout Indonesia starting November 28, 2024. For horror lovers, this film will bring a mystical and deep horror experience, promising a combination of classic horror with thrilling modern visuals.

Friday, November 1, Falcon Black released posters and trailers for their latest horror film, Guna-guna Istri Muda, which is a remake of the 1977 classic film.

Directed by Robby Ertanto, this film presents a tense horror story played by Anjasmara, Lulu Tobing, Happy Salma, Carissa Perusset, Abidzar Al Ghifari, Elang El Gibran, and Donny Damara. The Use of Young Wife is ready to present a deep horror experience with dramatic and mysterious household conflicts.

This film tells the story of Burhan (Anjasmara), a rich man whose life turns around to be full of horror after marrying Angel (Carissa Perusset) as a young wife. Angel's virtue prompted her to work with a shaman, Sumi (Happy Salma), to control Burhan's property.

Burhan's life and his first wife, Vivian (Lulu Tobing), began to be terrorized by a series of horrific mystical events. When Roy (Eelang El Gibran), the previous victim of Angel's charm, opened this dark secret, Burhan and Vivian faced dire consequences of uncontrolled ambition.

Director Robby Ertanto hopes that this film can convey the message behind his horror story. "Using Young Wife is not just an ordinary horror film. This is a story about ambition, greed, and destruction that occurs when someone goes beyond the limit. I want the audience to feel the horror in every scene while reflecting on the moral aspects of this story," Robby explained at a press conference launching posters and trailers.

Anjasmara also shared her experience during filming. "The role of the Burhan is very challenging, especially with the complexity of his character who has to face drastic changes in his life. There is a psychological side that I have to explore, and I hope the audience can feel the tensions they are experiencing," said Anjasmara.

Lulu Tobing also highlighted her role as Vivian, a loyal wife but had to face the terror that came in her family. 'Vivian is a sincere wife figure, but is a victim of a situation she never imagined. Playing Vivian is an emotional and very memorable experience for me," Lulu said.

Carissa Perusset, who plays Angel, said her ambitious character. "Angel is an ambitious character and dares to take risks. Playing Angel is a big challenge because I have to show a dark side and strong ambition. Mr. Robby helped a lot in exploring this character, and I am excited to look forward to the audience's response," he said.
