6 Breakfast Mistakes That Make The Body Fatter
JAKARTA - Breakfast is the most important meal time, because it is an energy source and helps metabolism. However, there are several breakfast errors that can gain weight. There are several breakfast menus that are not healthy.
It's hard not to have your favorite breakfast. However, this small change can make you healthier and lose weight. Here are 6 breakfast errors that make your body fatter, as reported by VOI from The Sun's page on Monday, November 1, 2024.
1. Consumption of foods that contain a lot of sugar
Croissant, sumur, and roast food may taste good to eat in the morning, but this cannot help lose weight. In fact, you can gain weight, because of the high content of sugar.
"If you eat too much sugar, it clearly increases the risk of gaining weight. If you have a jump in sugar that is followed by low sugar, you may be looking for sweet foods to rise again," said Rob Holson, a nutritionist in London.
Kubson says there's a lot of hidden sugar inamating that people don't realize, but reading a nutritional label will find the worst content.
dieter Dr Carrie Ruxton says a lot of sweet and low-fiber breakfast fragrances can take away your appetite. This makes you hunt snacks a few hours later.
2. Excessively Consuming Empty Kalori
Dr Mayur Ranchordas, a sports physiological and sports nutrition expert, said it was important to pay attention to how calories can increase during breakfast.
If you drink fire or fire is full of fat with fire, you may think 'I only drink coffee and rest for breakfast'. But that's a lot of calories, and there's no nutritional value," said Dr Mayur.
"It's the same as 700-800 calories at breakfast. If you then eat a sandwich and parade at lunch, you can exceed your daily calorie intake before dinner." he continued.
Dr. Mayur says you should eat healthy foods, such as a piece of wheat roast bread, boiled eggs, smoke salmon, and avocado. Even though it has a higher nutritional value, calories can increase rapidly. So pay attention to the size of the portion.
3. Not consuming enough Protein and Healthy Fat
The key to a healthy breakfast is to make sure it has three main competitors, such as protein, fat, and carbohydrates. These are three main components and each is needed on a diet.
Many breakfasts fail to include the three. This can cause hunger or inflammation in a few hours. For the most part, breakfast contains more carbohydrates. This is not balanced with calories that will be burned before lunch time.
"Don't just think about calories, but the quality of the food. The general rule for athletes is whether the food gives you healthy fat, good protein, minerals and moderate carbohydrates? If the answer is yes, 9/10 it might be healthy food," said Ranchordas.
"But if you have a bowl of milk and orange juice, there is very little protein in that diet so you're likely to be hungry again." he continued.
4. Consuming Oily Cooking
Rob Holson says oily fried foods are full of saturated fat and a lot of calories, making you feel lethargic.
"The smaller amount is okay. But there is a lot to do with processed meat and intestinal cancer. For example, sausages and sausages are full of salt that is not good for blood pressure," he said.

5. Eat while walking
Currently, people tend to have breakfast while walking, as they rush to start activities.
"There is a possibility that you will overeat if you don't focus on food, and if you're in a hurry, you're at risk of having digestive problems," said Rob Holson.
I think it's good if you sit down and wake up. If you don't have time in the morning, go to the break room for breakfast. We all have about ten minutes to sit down and have breakfast," he continued.
6. Waiting to Starve
Should you eat in the morning or miss breakfast?
"Starting the day with the wrong breakfast or not at all, it won't lose weight. Breakfast makes you get used to it well and keeps your snack in the morning awake." said Dr Carrie.
Dr. Ruxton said if you can't face anything in the morning, you might have eaten too late the night before.
However, Rob Holson shows different people's diets and some may eat in the afternoon window until 8 p.m.
"You have a certain amount of energy to eat in a day, it doesn't matter when to eat it, as long as you share it." said Dr Ruxton.
But he said never "waiting until you're hungry" because it can lead you to achieve something unhealthy. Meanwhile, Dr. Mayur said he disagreed with the idea that "food is today's most important food", as there is not enough knowledge to support it.
"Most people are quite overweight and have high levels of glucose fasting blood. MISSing breakfast may be healthy for their assumptions," he said.
If you eat the last meal at 7 p.m. And it's rice, carbohydrates, pasta, then sleep at 11 p.m. Next, don't eat until lunch time, you've been fasting for 16 hours.
"That's pretty good for you, because it controls insulin levels and blood sugar." he added.
