There Are Many Notes For The 2024 Presidential Election, But The Community Is Not Divided

The election of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia 2024-2029 was the people's choice based on the most votes. Although colored by differences of opinion, it is considered part of the political dynamics.

Political Communication Observer Hendri Budi Satrio said the 2024 presidential election has many notes. In fact, according to him, the judges at the Constitutional Court (MK) have a dissenting opinion. Apart from the political situation ahead of the election, where there is a difference of opinion, Hendri said that the current community is not divided.

"People are different, but they don't break. It means that there are differences. But in fact, they don't. In the market, the stadium is not divided based on the political situation", said Hendri while talking to VOI, Thursday, October 31, 2024.

Hendri stated that after the determination of the results of the 2024 election and after the inauguration of the President and Vice President-elect, he was ready to maintain unity and integrity for the sake of the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.

As an observer of Political Communication, Hendri also invited all community groups to maintain and maintain the security situation and conditions after the determination of the results of the 2024 General Election and post-presidential and Vice Presidential elections as well as the simultaneous regional elections in 2024 so that anarchic and chaotic action was not created.

"People's groups should not be divided and do not want to be pitted against each other so that polarization is created in the midst of society," said Hendri.

With hoax content that is often circulating on social media, Hendri appealed to the public not to be consumed by hoax issues that often divide society.

"Don't let it be consumed by hoaxes, SARA issues and other information that are not yet clear, especially in the post-determination of the 2024 election results and post-announcement of the elected President and Vice President as well as the 2024 simultaneous Pilkada stages", said Hendri.

However, Hendri also asked the government to provide education to the public to be smarter and wiser in playing social media.

The government needs to promote culture and provide political education and responsibility to the community in social media. New social media for us, so there needs to be a responsibility for its users. Social media education needs to be promoted by the government", explained Hendri.

Hendri also fully supports government programs and policies to advance the life of the nation and state in Indonesia. He invited all people who have the right to choose to actively participate in the success of the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.
