YouTube Denies Display Trials That Eliminate Upload Dates And Number Of Views

JAKARTA Not long ago, news emerged that YouTube was testing the Beranda display which eliminates the number of views and upload dates. However, this news has been directly denied by YouTube.

Initially, news of this trial emerged from Dexerto's account on platform X. When opening the YouTube website via a desktop browser, it can be seen that the row of video thumbnails only displays two information, namely the title of the video and the channel that uploaded it.

Dexerto's upload has become a topic of conversation and not a few have criticized YouTube's actions. According to users, eliminating upload dates and the number of views from Beranda will be a setback for the platform.

After the post was crowded and liked by more than 30 thousand users, YouTube left Community Records in the post. In his notes, YouTube said that the loss of upload dates and the number of views occurred because of its users.

"I want to make it clear that this can happen if viewers watch YouTube with certain browser extensions enabled," YouTube said via its official account on platform X.

The video platform explains that users must turn off the browser extension they are using to restore the number of views and upload dates. If this problem still occurs after the extension is turned off, YouTube asks its users to make a report.

YouTube did not explain what extensions could trigger the loss of upload dates and the number of shows from Beranda. Google simply insists that YouTube has never tested a layout that removes these two things.
