App Store Will Present AI-Based App Review Summary

JAKARTA - The App Store will soon introduce a new feature in the form of a summary of application reviews generated by artificial intelligence (AI). This feature was developed after the launch of iOS 18.1 which brought Apple Intelligence to the public, which allowed users to receive a summary of Apple's email, message, and notification technology.

According to a 9to5mac report, this review summary will appear together with the description and screenshot of the application on the main App Store page. The summary will summarize the most common user reviews, providing a clear picture to potential users about the quality of the app.

Apple will update this summary whenever the app receives a new review, and developers can report if the resulting summary is deemed inaccurate. This feature will be available in certain countries and regions, although there is no definite information about the specific location.

This feature reference has appeared in the API App Store, suggesting that its launch may arrive in the near future. Apple continues to add AI-based features with every iOS 18 update, including Image Playground and Visual Intelligence on iOS 18.2
