JAKARTA - The Chief Executive of Banking Supervision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Dian Ediana Rae conveyed that the policies planned by President Prabowo Subianto regarding credit bleaching or deleting for 6 million MSME actors, including farmers and fishermen, were positive.

"We'll discuss it later. We'll just have a positive look," he said after the opening of the 2024 ISEF, at JCC, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 30.

Dian explained that his party is coordinating with the government and banks regarding the plan to abolish the MSME credit book.

"We are coordinating," he explained.

However, Dian said that his party would supervise the implementation of credit bleaching from the banking side.

"Later, we'll just have to pay attention to the details, of course, how will the bank implement it and so on," he said.

As is known, the plan to abolish or bleach the debts of 6 million MSME players, including Indonesian farmers and fishermen through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) was conveyed by President Prabowo's younger brother, Hashim Djojohadikusumo in an economic discussion of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
