Workers In Banjarmasin Nyambi Become Dealers, Police Secure 47.65 Grams Of Methamphetamine While Searching Their Houses
BANJARMASIN - The Drug Investigation Unit (Satresnarkoba) of the Banjarmasin Police, South Kalimantan Police, named a worker with the initials AS (45) as a suspect for possession of 47.65 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
The 47.65 gram methamphetamine was found when officers conducted a search of the perpetrator's house on Jalan Tunjung Maya Gang H Hasan, Pekapuran Raya Village, East Banjarmasin District.
"We named the perpetrator as a suspect because we found tens of grams of methamphetamine at US home on Tuesday afternoon, at around 12.30 WITA," said Head of Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Police, Kompol Bala P Dewa in Banjarmasin, Antara, Wednesday, October 30.
He said the man who works as a laborer daily based on the results of the examination had admitted that 18 packages of methamphetamine belonged to him and to be circulated again.
"Currently, the US perpetrator has been named a suspect and the evidence has been brought to the Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit for confiscation," said the man who holds a jasmine one on his shoulders.
The suspect is undergoing investigation to find out where the methamphetamine came from as many as a dozen packages weighing 47.65 grams.
Not only that, said Bala, from the results of the examination of the US, officers charged him with Article 112 Paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
"We have detained the US suspect at the Banjarmasin Police Detention Center for further legal proceedings," said the Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Banjarmasin Police.
In addition to getting methamphetamine, the police also confiscated other evidence such as two digital scales, two plastic clips and one said it was made of plastic straws.
