Rosan Reveals 3 President Prabowo's Directions For Investment Targets In 2025
JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said there were several directives given by President Prabowo Subianto during the Red and White Cabinet treatment in Magelang regarding the investment target in 2025 which remained at IDR 1,905 trillion.
"Next year, it is in accordance with the figure from Bappenas of Rp. 1,900 trillion," he said after the press conference, Tuesday, October 29.
Rosan said that one of the directives from President Prabowo was export-oriented investment, investment in the clean energy sector and investment that could create a large job field.
"There are a lot of strategy. Yes, the direction is how the investment we are trying to attract to Indonesia is investment that has an export orientation, that's the first. Second, clean energy. Third, what creates a large job field," he said.
To note, the investment target for 2025 will increase to IDR 1,905 trillion, compared to the previous year's IDR 1,650 trillion.
Rosan is optimistic that the investment target set by the government in 2024 of IDR 1,650 trillion will be achieved.
"God willing, we are always optimistic that it will be achieved," he said.

Previously, the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani said that the realization of investment in Indonesia in the second quarter of 2024 reached IDR 829.9 trillion, an increase of 22.3 percent compared to the same period the previous year.
"Until the first half of 2024, investment realization has been achieved of IDR 829.9 trillion. When compared to the target of the first strategic plan of IDR 1,239.3 trillion or 67 percent of the current target," he said.
