Xiaomi Launches HyperOS 2 With A More Smooth Animation Feature And Smart Device Integration
JAKARTA - On October 29, 2024, Xiaomi held a launch event where they introduced the latest flagship smartphone series, Xiaomi 15, with Pad 7 tablets and various other devices.
One of the highlights is the debut of their latest operating system, HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15. HyperOS 2 is designed to improve the performance of Xiaomi devices and provide a smoother experience in connecting smart devices, such as smartphones, TVs, wearable devices, cars, and smart home devices.
HyperOS 2 is powered by a new platform called Xiaomi HyperCore designed to improve memory management, input processing, and task settings. The system uses a heterogeneous computing method that divides tasks into different types of processors, providing a more subtle visual display especially for games or video viewing.
Stronger And Smoother Connection
Xiaomi is developing Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 5G connectivity to ensure the connection is stable without interference. HyperConnect's flagship features allow Xiaomi devices to connect easily, so users can move between cell phones, TVs, or smartwatches without a hitch. The file transfer process increased 33%, and latency problems decreased by 54%.
HyperOS 2 is equipped with various AI-powered tools that personalize and make the device more interactive. A dynamic Wallpaper that changes according to user activity and a cinematic-style key screen provides a more lively display on devices. HyperOS 2 also has a 3D dynamic weather system created with real atmospheric models, providing a more immersive experience.
The new personal assistant, Super XiaoAi, helps with daily tasks such as filling in automated data, reminding appointments, and searching for files with voice commands. HyperOS 2 also has an AI Magic Painting feature that allows photo editing with various styles.
Xiaomi has added a chip-based security system to protect data both on devices and in the cloud, with the promise of strict privacy control through advanced encryption.
HyperOS 2 with Desktop 2.0 allows users to operate applications on several devices at once. This feature is also compatible with Apple devices, so that iPhone, iPad, and MacBook users can easily connect with Xiaomi products.
HyperOS 2 presents the latest live streaming capabilities with the Cross-Device Camera 2.0, which allows video streaming from two devices at once, suitable for gaming, sports, or online teaching. Image-in-picture mode for TV also makes it easier for users to watch while accessing other applications.
Xiaomi's newest device is equipped with HyperOS 2, and this update will roll out to older devices starting November 2024.
