Slank Celebrates 41 Years Of Working With Concerts At The Night Market
JAKARTA - In celebration of the 41st anniversary, Slank will appear in a special musical performance with the concept of a night market.
The concert with the title Pasar Malam Empat Satoe Slank which will be held by Expoindo will be held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Central Jakarta on January 4, 2025.
The night market has its own meaning for Slank personnel. Bimbim said this concept is a new thing that has never been tried before.
"With the market tonight, we want to always show things that have never been done, even though the idea has been around for a long time," said Bimbim during a press conference in Kebayoran Baru, Tuesday, October 29.
Bimbim also sees the concept of the market tonight as a picture of Indonesia's locality which is the pride of its people.
Therefore, Slank will perform their local' songs and are close to listeners in the country.
"This night's market theme is really local pride, yes, later we will also bring songs that have local elements, such as PIss and Social Betawi Yoi," said the drummer.

Meanwhile, Kaka sees the night market concept as suitable for the current Slank listeners segment, which has been running for two generations.
"We want to make a concert but those who enjoy it from many circles, the age segment. That night's market can make all ages," said Kaka.
"So later they can watch the concert, and those who bring small children can also take a walk at the night market," he continued.
For the 'Four Night Market Satoe Slank' concert later, JIExpo will be transformed into a night market with various rides, culinary, and other exciting objects.
This concert is held as a form of appreciation for Slank's long journey in music. Apart from celebrating Slank's works, the Empat Satoe Slank Night Market concert is also a momentum and historic connection for Slank, Slankers, as well as all parties who have supported Slank's creative journey to date," said Novry Hetharia, Operations Director of PT Expoindo Jaya.
