This activity is a global campaign initiated by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and is also celebrated by exchanges for members of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) around the world to promote awareness of the importance of education and investor protection.

IDX Development Director Jeffrey Hendrik said this activity aims to help get to know more about financial management and investment in the capital market to achieve financial freedom.

Jeffrey emphasized the importance of financial education and capital market investment for a brighter future while at the same time expressing the IDX's commitment to continue to encourage increased capital market literacy and inclusion.

"Collaboration with Heritage Amanah International and the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation today is a concrete step in order to achieve the goal of the "I'm a Stock Investor" program to provide a sense of pride, inclusiveness, and progress for Indonesian stock investors," he said in his statement, Tuesday, October 29.

Jeffrey conveyed that this year's collaboration with Heritage Amanah International and FPTI is expected to attract public interest, especially young people, in investing in the Indonesian capital market so that they can face economic challenges in the future.

Heritage Amanah International's Group CEO Salina Nordin explained that this appreciation also aims to prepare athletes to manage their finances well in the future and start investing in the Indonesian capital market.

"We hope that this financial education can help athletes be wiser in managing the results of their hard work and planning a safer financial future," Salina said.

He added, through the Safe Financial Literacy (AFL) program, his party is also committed to educating 5 million women in Indonesia and 50,000 national athletes in the next 5 years, as well as inviting 250,000 young people to have a career in the financial industry.
