Remind The Prosecutor About Conscience, Komjak Directly Monitors Supriyani's Teacher Trial Accused Of Hitting Police Children

The Prosecutor's Commission (Komjak) visited the District Court (PN) Andoolo who tried the Supriyani case, an honorary teacher at SDN 4 Baito, South Konawe Regency (Konsel), Central Sulawesi (Sultra) who was accused of hitting his student with the initials D (8).

The chairman of the Prosecutor's Commission, Pujiono Suwadi, explained that his visit was a clear message in carrying out his duties and authorities based on Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 18 of 2019 concerning the Prosecutor's Commission.

"That we remind our fellow prosecutors to implement Article 37 of the Prosecutor's Law," said Pujiono Suwadi at the Andoolo District Court, Konsel, Southeast Sulawesi, Tuesday, October 29, which was confiscated by Antara.

In implementing the article, he said, the prosecutor's office is a public prosecutor in the court to provide prosecution based on law and conscience.

"Well, about these words are clear. So, the basis is that if we study law, there must be in the Criminal Code and all kinds of things. However, if we learn conscience, we dive with justice in the community," he said.

In the case of honorary teacher Supriyani, his party also continues to follow the process at the judiciary which prioritizes conscience.

"Yes, of course, related to that (Supriyani) we gave a message to fellow prosecutors that law enforcement, apart from being based on law, must also really be based on conscience," he said.

He stated that the case has now received attention from the Indonesian Attorney General's Office (AGO) to pay attention.

"There is attention. We have monitored it since the beginning of this case, then the Attorney General's Office immediately paid attention and we appreciate it," he said.
