Brazilian Club Supporter Cruzeiro Dies After Attacked Palmeiras Supporters

JAKARTA - Brazilian authorities said a fan of Cruzeiro had died after being ambushed and attacked on the side of the road by Palmeiras supporters in the state of Sao Paulo on Sunday, October 27, 2024, morning local time.

The fan is confirmed to have died at a hospital in the city of Mairipora, 46 kilometers (28 miles) north of Sao Paulo. Local media reports said at least 12 fans were injured in the same attack.
