2 Explosions Occurred Near Ship Sailing In Yemen's Al Dhubab

JAKARTA - The merchant ship reported two explosions near a ship sailing 14 nautical miles southwest of Al Dhubab Yemen.

The UK maritime security company Ambrey report follows a statement by the UK Maritime Trade Operation (UKMTO), which received information about two explosions related to the incident of 25 nautical miles south of Mokha port in Yemen. The ship and crew were reportedly safe, and the ship continued its journey to its next port, UKMTO said.

It is not clear whether the two incidents had anything to do with it.

Al Dhubab and Mokha are located along Yemen's west coast near the Bab al-Mandeb strait, making it strategically important along the corridor of the Red Sea.
