Case Of A Man Taking Children At The Pasar Minggu Pospol Withdrawn To The East Jakarta Metro Police
JAKARTA - The Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police arrested a 4-year-old girl who was taken hostage by the perpetrator with the initials IJ (54) whose case was transferred from the South Jakarta Metro Police.
The case was transferred because the location of the initial kidnapping incident occurred in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. Previously, the perpetrator IJ was arrested by the police at the Pejaten police post, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
The Head of PPA of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sri Yatmini, confirmed the delegation of the case. Currently, the perpetrator has been secured to the East Jakarta Metro Police for examination. Meanwhile, the victim has been treated at a safe house.
"TKP happened in Cakung, East Jakarta. But there is no LP from the victim's parents at the East Jakarta Police," said AKP Sri when confirmed, Monday, October 28, evening.
As of Monday night, the perpetrator with the initials IJ is still under investigation at the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit. AKP Sri has not explained further regarding the motive for the kidnapping by the perpetrator with the initials IJ against the victim.

The East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit is still waiting for a report from the victim's family. Meanwhile, the perpetrator is still being investigated and will be detained in a prison cell for his actions.

The action was witnessed by many people because the perpetrator acted inside the roadside police post in a heavy traffic condition. In the video, the child is seen screaming and crying for help. However, residents can only watch.
