Kamal Adwan Gaza Hospital Paralyzed By Israel Until One Doctor Remains, Surgeon Asked To Meet

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health in Gaza has asked anyone with surgical skills to join Kamal Adwan's hospital in northern Gaza to help save as many injured people and patients as possible.

Hospital conditions were paralyzed following an Israeli attack on the facility caused a shortage of supplies and medics.

"The ministry immediately called on international organizations to immediately send a surgical team to the hospital," the Gaza Ministry of Health said as reported by CNN, Monday, October 28.

The Gaza Ministry of Health explained the hospital was left without most of its medical staff, accusing Israeli forces of detaining or expelling most doctors at the facility.

There is currently only one pediatrician left in the hospital at all specialties.

An Israeli military official said his forces raided Kamal Adwan Hospital last week following heavy fighting around the hospital. The official said there were no exchanges of fire inside the hospital, but troops found weapons and ammunition in the hospital grounds.

During the operation, the official said the IDF detained more than 100 Hamas terrorists. CNN was unable to independently verify the claim.

It was reported that 30 people detained in hospital were medical staff, according to nonprofit MedGlobal and Palestinian Ministry of Health.
