Bripka Arif Hidayat Is Critical After Being Persecuted By 2 OTK In Mulia Puncak Jaya

JAYAPURA - Kapolres Puncak Jaya (Puja) AKBP Kuswara said that a member of the Ilu Sector Police (Polsek), Bripka Arif Hidayat, is currently in critical condition after being attacked by an unknown person (OTK) in Mulia, the capital of Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua.

Victims who were persecuted using sharp weapons are currently being treated at Bhayangkara Jayapura Hospital, after being evacuated for a moment, Sunday, October 27.

"Currently, the victim is still in intensive care for the injuries he suffered," said Kuswara when contacted from Jayapura, quoted from Antara, Monday, October 28.

From the reports received, the victim who served at the Ilu Police Station on Sunday afternoon at around 13.12 WIT was attacked by OTK while shopping at one of the kiosks or grocery stores in Kampung 55.

"When shopping, two perpetrators appeared and attacked the victim using a machete and hit the victim's head," he said.

The police have not been able to confirm who the perpetrator was because before attacking the victim, they had communicated with the perpetrator. "Members are still investigating the motive and who the perpetrators of the attack were members of the Ilu Police," said Kuswara.
