East Java Prosecutor's Office Explains Chronology Of Ronald Tannur's Arrest In Surabaya
JAKARTA - The arrest of Gregorius Ronald Tannur, a convict in the case of persecution to death in Dini Sera Afrianti, is the result of the hard work of the intelligence team of the East Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati Jatim) who continues to monitor the convict's whereabouts.
"Efforts to arrest in the context of execution are the result of the hard work of the intelligence team who always monitor the whereabouts of the convict Gregorius Ronald Tannur shortly after the Cassation Decision from the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 1466/K/Pid/2024," said Head of the East Java Prosecutor's Office Mia Amati in Surabaya, Antara, Sunday, October 27.
Mia also explained the chronology of the convict's arrest, starting with the intelligence team of the East Java Prosecutor's Office together with the Surabaya Kejari executor team to Gregorius Ronald Tannur's residence in Pakuwon City Virginia Regency E3 Surabaya on Sunday (27/10) at 14:10 WIB.
Arriving at 14.30 WIB, the team entered the convict's house and picked up the convict Ronald Tannur in the context of carrying out the execution.
"The person concerned was accompanied by his household assistant," Mia said.
At around 14:45 WIB, the convict Gregorius Ronald Tannur was arrested by the East Java Attorney General's Intelligence team together with the team of prosecutors for the Surabaya Kejari and immediately taken to the East Java High Prosecutor's Office.
At 15.40 WIB, the convict Gregorius Ronald Tannur arrived at the East Java Prosecutor's Office with security from a joint intelligence team. Furthermore, the convict Gregorius Ronald Tannur was immediately executed by the Executing Prosecutor at the Surabaya Class I Correctional Institution (LP) in Medaeng.
It is known that the arrest of the son of Edward Tannur, who is a former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the PKB faction was based on the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 1466/K/Pid/2024 dated October 22, 2024.
