If Elected, Ridwan Kamil Promises To Free State-Private Schools From Elementary-SLTA In DKI Jakarta

JAKARTA - The candidate for the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil, said that he would free schools in public-private areas from elementary schools (SD) to high-level advanced schools (SLTA).

This was conveyed during the first season of debate at the Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, North Jakarta (Jakut).

"The RIDO (Ridwan Kamil-Suswono) pair wants to provide an answer to this. Education for the citizens of Jakarta next year is free in the country and private sector, from elementary to high school," said Ridwan in the Beach City International Stadium debate session, Ancol, Jakut, Sunday, October 27.

Ridwan also said that he would reduce the burden on teachers in DKI Jakarta. The goal is that they can provide educational facilities to their students more optimally.

"To our teachers, we will reduce the burden to become more friendly in taking care of students, rather than taking care of other technical matters. Just focus on staying in education," he concluded.

Previously, the debate between the two governor candidates (cagub) and the Jakarta deputy governor candidate (cawagub) was ready to be held today, Sunday, October 27 evening. The DKI Jakarta KPU determined that each candidate could bring a maximum of 105 supporters.

"Just like the first debate, (consisting of) 75 supporters and 30 campaign teams," said DKI Jakarta KPU Commissioner Astri Megatari, Sunday, October 27.

The debate between the two cagubs and the Jakarta cawagub took place at the Beach City International Stadium, North Jakarta starting at 19.00 WIB. Later, supporters can enter the debate venue through the south door.
