BYD Enlivens GIIAS Semarang 2024 By Bringing A Mainstay Model, There Is MPV M6

JAKARTA - The GIIAS The Series exhibition is taking place again, this time it was present in Semarang which was attended by various well-known manufacturers who showed off their latest kinds of technology.

At the exhibition which ends on 27 October, PT BYD Motor Indonesia also took part and debuted for the city as well as an important step for the company to expand in the country.

"This participation is an extraordinary opportunity for us to show our commitment to the innovation and development of the automotive industry in a sustainable manner," said Head of Marketing Communication of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Luther Panjaitan, in an official statement, Saturday, October 26.

BYD also brought various mainstay models that have been launched in the country, such as Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal and MPV electricity M6, a premium model designed to provide comfort for Indonesian families.

This event is an important moment for Central Java, the province with the third largest population in Indonesia, which continues to show a positive trend in automotive sales including electric vehicles, along with economic stability and increasing people's purchasing power.

With the significant increase in sales of electric vehicles in 2024 in Central Java, it is reinforced by the government's commitment in the form of regulations and incentives for the production of environmentally friendly vehicles, Central Java province has the potential to become the center of growth in the automotive industry in Indonesia.

"We believe that Central Java, especially Semarang, has great potential to become the center of electric vehicles in Indonesia. We are very enthusiastic about introducing BYD's latest technological innovations to the people here and hope to be part of the journey to more environmentally friendly mobility," he added.

This brand from China also announced the M6 price for the Semarang market, which is sold starting from Rp394 million for the Standard variant, and the highest Superior Captain Seat is at Rp445 million.
